The origins of SHAH date back to 1899, as if engraved on a stone probably by some farmer who, like many others, once stayed on the estate to enjoy nature, to work there or simply to pick the products that the land offered. “Ariola”, as Lo Shah was nicknamed, was a lemon grove, a point of reference for the inhabitants of the small village of Conca dei Marini, the heart of the Amalfi Coast.
Conca dei Marini presented itself differently from today, even if it has preserved, more than any other, the authenticity and genuineness of the past. The ambitious project of recovery of this generation ancient property handed down from, has seen the light, after a long and important conservative restoration, thanks to those who believed and wanted to revive this magical place.
